Tricks and Tips

So I have come to the realizations that most of the people that I know do not know much about cooking, so I'm going to give you some hopefully helpful tips that have helped me on my baking attempts and other things that will be important in things not to do or you may burst in to flames,(not really but I thought emphasis would be necessary here).

Tip One: As annoying as this is READ THE DIRECTIONS ALL THE WAY THOUGHT BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!!! yes yes you have heard that a million times but really they are not that hard to follow and with the cupcakes that I am giving you instructions on if you DON'T follow them it will turn a 10 minute cake mixing sesh into a 45 minute mixing triathlon.

Tip Two: I live in a high altitude state so there for my baking time will be around 18 min for each batch of cupcakes but in lower levels you will most likely cook from 13-15 mins.

Tip Three: Please Please Please pay attention to (*) because I have such a spastic though process that I will forget things and the (*) will help put in foot notes for more helpful tips.

Now on to Tricks: (Don't worry they are not the mean kinds of tricks that make you upset like at Halloween)

Trick One: Use a regular ice cream scoop filled 2/3's up to fill your cupcake papers 2/3's up in the tins for the perfect cupcakes!

Trick Two: If you are really a patient person like me(not) and you do not want to wait 10 minutes for your cupcakes to completely cool you can stick them in the freezer for like 3 minutes and they should be good for frosting right after that.

Trick Three: Depending on the recipe there will most likely be more frosting than cupcakes, so some times I double the recipe(I will always give you the single version of the recipe, so then you can choose if you want more cupcakes, or if you just want to eat the frosting)
